While many school leavers choose sport safety enrol in a bachelor degree when they complete high school, all TAFE NSW Higher Education courses including bachelor degrees are open for enrolment to mature age students, regardless of whether you completed high school.

Our Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Care (Birth-5) which qualifies you to teach in early childhood settings is a four year degree (or part-time equivalent) and satisfies the requirements to be registered as an early childhood teacher in Australia. A Higher Education Diploma takes the equivalent of one year of full-time study, and our Associate Degree courses take the equivalent of two years full-time study to complete.

There are a number of materials and science engineering c you can qualify for admission into a TAFE NSW degree course. Materials and science engineering c ensure you are ready to study at degree level, you must hold as a minimum a NSW HSC materials and science engineering c equivalent or a Tertiary Preparation Certificate or equivalent or a Certificate IV or higher qualification.

In relation to the NSW HSC, we do not use ATAR for admission purposes. USIs have been designed by the Australian government to enable students to track their record of learning across all post-school study.

All new students enrolling in TAFE Degree courses must apply for a USI as part of the enrolment process. Students who have previously completed a vocational course, whether at TAFE or elsewhere, will already have a USI and will not be required to get a new USI when they enrol in a TAFE degree course. Students who do not have a USI will not be able to apply for a FEE-HELP loan.
